Footprints is a unique location for a wedding or commitment ceremony. An event at our lakeside resort is more of a weekend celebration than a conventional wedding. We are a small boutique resort, which allows you to book the entire resort for your event with no outside distractions or other guests. We have a total of 9 rooms, 7 villas and 7 cabins, with a potential capacity of up to 56 people overnight. Nearby accommodations are also available for larger groups. With exclusive use of our resort, you will have the lounge with full kitchen, the Cabana with bar area and the dome for your reception or parties… The entire place all to yourselves!

Our resort is located on a private lake with beach and hiking trails. We have numerous inclusive watersports such as canoes, kayaks, boats, stand up paddle boards, paddle boat, a water trampoline, diving platform and much more. All at no additional cost to you or your guests!

The deck, with the lake in the background… the long dock on the lake or on the lawn overlooking the lake, are all perfect, picturesque ceremony locations and the Dome is perfect for your reception and after party.

Nearby Bancroft boasts many exceptional businesses including florists, spas, aesthetic services and a number of hotels, if you need additional accommodations.

Located between Ottawa and Toronto, Footprints is a pleasant 2 ½ drive away from Ontario’s two major cities.
