Algonquin Arts Council
AAC hosts free music concerts in Millennium Park every Wednesday night in July and Aug, 7pm- 9pm. Millennium Park is just a few steps North of the Bancroft core. It is situated on the banks of the York River on Highway 62, just one block from The Visitors Center and Bancroft and District Chamber of Commerce.

Madawaska Kanu Center
2 hour rafting trips on the Madawaska River run Monday thru Thursday from mid-June to end of August. Hold on tight down 5 fun-filled kms of beautiful scenery and tumbling white water in the Algonquin Park area. Ability to swim is not mandatory as lifejackets and helmets are worn at all times. Dress to get wet and wear shoes that will stay on your feet.

Every year in September, Studio Tour will take you to visit 18 unique artists and make 14 stops featuring rustic woodworking, pottery, wire sculpture, paintings in many mediums, wood art and wood turning, fiber art, stained glass, fusing, mosaic and jewelry. An excellent opportunity to meet artists and view or purchase their exquisite creations. This driving tour is from 10am til 5pm. Call ahead.
Climb atop the Eagle’s Nest viewing platform, located above Bancroft, for a breathtaking view. Because warm air currents are generated by the large rock faces of granite, thermals are formed, creating excellent conditions for migrating birds. The perfect place for bird watching.

Bancroft Golf Course
The Bancroft Golf Course was established in 1950 and offers 9 holes with variations to complete 18. Open to walk-in guests as well as members, the course is located on the east side of Hwy 62, just past the Canadian Tire.
