Footprints is a self-catering resort, but if you just don’t want to cook, have been sight seeing all day or you’d like a romantic, fine dining experience, there are a number of dining choices just minutes from Footprints waterfront resort.
The Granite
Fine dining in Bancroft, dine in or eat on the patio with a lovely view. Daily specials, full bar with a selection of draft and craft beers and friendly staff. The menu offers salads and appetizers, burgers and full entrees.

Blue Roof Bistro
The Blue Roof uses freshly sourced ingredients as often as possible, including free-run eggs and local meats free of antibiotics, steroids and hormones, and no deep frying. The fully licensed bar includes a bring-your-own-wine endorsement, a small selection of Canadian craft beers, and offers quality wines from around the world. Open Tuesday to Saturday from May to December, reservations are recommended due to the intimate size of this establishment.

Climb atop the Eagle’s Nest viewing platform, located above Bancroft, for a breathtaking view. Because warm air currents are generated by the large rock faces of granite, thermals are formed, creating excellent conditions for migrating birds. The perfect place for bird watching.
